Perak

Perak, or Perak Darul Ridzuan, is one of the thirteen states in Malaysia, and is located on the west coast of the West Malaysia. You see, Malaysia is kind of split in two.

The West Malaysia, where Perak is located, is a peninsula with border to Thailand in the north. The other part of Malaysia is an island, and the two parts of Malaysia is split by the South China Sea.

The island is very popular among the locals because of its beautiful beaches and its great food.

Ipoh, the capital of the state, is the fourth largest city in Malaysia. It is known for its great local food and its limestone caves. If you visit the town, make sure to visit one of the limestone caves. It is possible to explore several of the beautiful caves both by foot and by boat.

In Perak, as in all of Malaysia, the food is also really cheap. In conjunction with the great tastes of the different local foods available, this is great for food lovers.
